Bansko is Bulgaria’s most modern ski resort, with very modern facilities. State-of-the-art chairlifts and gondolas, good ski rental offerings and a few good slopes. The resort enjoys good snow even in warm years, and hosts a lot of nightlife potential. Cheap, modern and fun with a touch of Bulgarian culture and history. Bansko is an ideal ski resort.

Bansko expansion
Bansko is finally set for expansion. It is a great ski resort but is in great need of more ski slopes if it wants to have a repeat clientele. Apparently this is exactly what they are planning to do, with news that investors have tabled projects for the development of the Dobrinishte skiing zone. Read more here.
